Late news in from the summer: Visiting Yorkshire grit fiend Andy Swann nipped out to Cae Du during a family holiday in the area back in the summer. He managed to climb the project line (No. 3) mentioned on page 263 in the North Wales Bouldering guide. Charlotte went at V7/7a+ ish.

Andy described it thus:

“It climbs the slim grey pillar with an obvious pocket high up - pull on with pinch and crimp, rock over to a small hold and so to the pocket. Real nice! It's quite hard, maybe a bit harder than V6/7a; lets go for V6+ (only joking).”
