Gav Foster celebrated the end of his college exams with a first ascent at everybody’s favourite roadside crag: the Cromlech boulders.
School’s Out starts sitting in the pit as for Problem 14. It then traces a line of holds rightwards underneath the boulder choke and out to finish up good holds just left of the aręte at the end of the Heelhook Traverse. The only rule is that the opposing wall and the capping boulder is not touched; this is entirely possible if the correct and rather funky step-through foot sequence is followed. A grade of V6/7a (ish) seems likely - the main crux section can be done footless, increasing the difficulty slightly.
The second half of the problem was first climbed by Neil Dyer a few years back.
