The recent ascent of Rock for Light has opened up some glaringly obvious potential links. Matt Perrier picked off one of them when he climbed the rather excellent connection from the Sleep Deprivation start into the second half of Rock for Light.

Sleep – Light rates about V8+/7b+ and is another must-do for roof climbing fanatics. Si Panton was straight in for a second ascent, approximately 5 minutes after the first.

On a slightly related note, Sleep Deprivation has become harder in recent times, following the demise of the bomber finger lock in the break. What remains is the option of using a very painful finger stack against a sharp notch, or holding an insecure sloper just to its left. Consequently, a new overall grade of V8+/7b+ seems more appropriate.
