Andy Godber has climbed the obvious direct finish to James Lillie’s Enter the Park in Parc Meurig, Bethesda.

Andy has named the highball finish Pesda Roc; here he explains how he climbed it: “It is a gem with really flowing top moves, and well done to James for doing the original. I actually found an easier way of getting to the point he broke out right, which uses a positive ½ inch finger pocket 18 inches right of the high left hand slopey slot he uses in the photo. This allows a really nice rock over to reach the obvious triangular hold with your left hand. Then a match and foot swap allow a reach up left to a finger slot before a really nice, if a tad worrying move to reach the top jug. Think it’s about V6/7a although one more move and I'd give it an E grade!!”
