Ian Whyatt on the Lickety Split extension V8/7b, photos: Si Panton

.

Ian Whyatt had rather a good day; first he ended a protracted siege on Rock Attrocity with a successful ascent, then he topped it all by completing a new line in the Split Infinity cave. Ian’s link is essentially an extended start to the classic Lickety Split adding 4 moves. It starts sitting as for Incomplete Youth, but then heads left under the roof, reversing the Rock Bottom traverse to finish up Lickety Split. This sustained extension rates a solid V8/7b.
