A rock fall between the Cutaway and the Norman Wisdom’s Roof area has caused a closure of the Marine Drive. Clearing work is due to start on Monday 1st October and is anticipated to take a week to complete. All of the main bouldering areas (Parisella’s, Split Infinity, Norman Wisdom’s Roof, Pill Box Wall, Pigeon’s Cave etc) are affected by the closure.

It is still possible to access the last section of the Marine drive via the zig-zags coming down from the top of the Orme. See the link below for updates on the BMC website.

STOP PRESS (Saturday 6th Oct): The access restriction has been lifted. The Marine Drive is once again open for business!
