Andy Godber has climbed a direct finish to the popular Ultimate Retro Party at the Cromlech boulders in the Llanberis Pass.

“Instead of making the last move right to the jug, you go straight up the wall with a big rockover. It’s slightly eliminate, in that you avoid the good holds out right, but it really does add to the original and climbs really well. It made Ultimate Retro Party feel a tad harder – maybe V8/7b+, and I suppose could be done as a V6/7a stand-up from the lip.” Explained Andy.

Ioan Doyle made a quick repeat confirming the grade and quality.
