John Maskell has straightened out the line of Mowgli at the Cromlech Boulders, climbing direct up from the start of Bull’s Problem. Interestingly this is how the line was originally tried by Chris Davies.

“I found the deadpoint to the diagonal edge pretty hard as it was at the full extent of my reach. I reckon it is about V9/7C from standing. I did it from a sitter and it felt significantly harder as you are less set up for the deadpoint, but I’m not sure if it is hard enough to go up a grade.” Explained John.
