Gareth Parry has linked the Pit of Hell start into The Left Wall Traverse from the Rock Atrocity starting jug, via a reverse of The Big Link traverse section.

Cave Life took 3 seperate sessions to crack and Gareth reckons it is top end for the grade, being harder than the other V11s in the cave.

Would be suitors should be warned that Gareth did fall off matching on the big flake on The Left Wall Traverse before he made the final successful redpoint!

(NB. The Pit of Hell has become something of a trade route of late - like most of the other hard problems in the cave - attracting a rake of repeats from both locals and visitors.)
