Ben Bransby climbed an impressive new start to Lip Flip (Pete Robins V6 problem to the right of The Ysgo Crack) at Porth Ysgo on Sunday 2nd January.

Ben's description shows the way on this radical line:

"I started sat on a very pointy boulder in the cave using the undercut in the crack that becomes The Ysgo Crack - at the very obvious good bit where you can squeeze in a hand jam, I then used a second undercut almost in the centre of the roof with my right hand (a nice big fat undercut!) and then out to a little side pull thing with the left hand (using the lip on the way) and then up the original problem using toe hooks on the fat undercut..."

Ben reckoned Font 7b+ (V8+), but admitted that it suited him, so it may be harder, perhaps V9.
