Jim Pope has climbed a fierce left hand start to Lily Savage in the Afon Lloer area of Dyffryn Ogwen (see page 322 in the NWB 3.1 guide).

Blankety Blank (8A) starts sitting with opposition sidepulls. Slap up to a slopey pinch then tilt rightwards into an undercut on the original, adjust your left and slap for the slopey ledge, before continuing on the easier upper section.

”It felt around 8A ish but it was so hot, it could be easier or harder, who knows! It’s really cool so hopefully it gets tried a bit.” said Jim after the ascent.
