A bit of news to report at Bwtres Carreg-filltir in Dyffryn Ogwen, albeit in a rather tardy fashion (please bear with me, I’m trying to get a guidebook finished as well!).

Last year, Pesda strong lad, Gwilym Tossell, climbed Pitian Patian (8A+). This starts sitting with the good slopers of Pit Traverse as start holds, and climbs directly up into the finish of Harvey LH.

Osian Parry, who made the second ascent (at the time thinking it was the first), described it thus: ”It felt like a harder and better (non eliminate) version of Harvey LH.”

Osian also added a hard link with The Pitbull and the Pendulum (8A), which links Jez’s Arête sds into his own problem, Pitbull.
