Pete Robins has climbed a stunning new arête at Cwmnantcol in the Rhinogydd. The line was first spotted by Andy Godber and passed on to Pete. Medusa (7C) tackles the zig-zagging arête on its left hand side. Pete climbed it as a 7B/+ stand up a few weeks back but returned yesterday and added the obvious sitting start.
He also climbed a few other grade 6 lines to the left and right of the arête.
This sandstone crag is located at Dol-dal-Owen, 52.817806, -4.037736 and there is parking at 52.816019, -4.044272. An obvious network of public footpaths will get you to the rocks which are on open access land.
