Tim Blake has climbed a desperate link line on the Gallt yr Ogof Smackhead boulder. The Diamond Inspector (8B) connects the Sway On start through This Parade into the wild Diamond Eyes finish.

”I totally nearly fluffed that last slap! It’s a tricky move from the other starts, This Parade is tricky too.” explained Tim after the ascent.

Further down the valley at Carreg Bwtres-filltir, Tim and Craig Davies both repeated Mike Adams' line, Old Boy, reckoning 8A was a fairer grade than the original 7C+. Tim also finished Old Boy out right reversing the Pit Traverse all the way at low end 8A.

Interestingly Harvey Oswald LH (7C) remains unrepeated (unless you know differently?). It was first done by Pete Robins back in 2007. See page 311 in the NWB 3.1 guide.
