Luke Fletcher has climbed a brilliant low righthand sitting start to Mark Evans’ forgotten line, True Playaz, which sits up above the Llyn Peris bends. The new 7C version starts down to the right and moves into a wide compression sequence.

The original problem was marred by an indistinct start where the difficulty varied greatly depending on the precise position of your hands at the pull on point. Luke’s version is a dramatic improvement that makes it into a proper, well-defined line. See page 111 in the NWB 3.1 guide.

If you’re wondering whether you will have the necessary wingspan to hold the compression positions, Luke is 5’11 with a plus 3 ape index. He’s also pretty strong!
