Blwyddyn Newydd Dda i chi gyd! Finally it seems that the rain has abated and the stable cold weather is back again. We can all look forward to a strong winter and spring season out and about on those little bits of rock that keep us so amused! But first, a little snippet of news to whet your appetites:

Osian Parry has climbed a new line on the Harvey Oswald boulder below Bwtres Carreg-filltir in Dyffryn Ogwen. Pitbull (7B+) rolls over rightwards from the Jez’s Aręte jug into edges, before making a snatch for the top of the wall.

”It’s pretty cool, and there are some link possibilities too.”

Said Osian, before adding:

”It needs some consensus on the grade, could be anywhere from 7B to 7C+.”
