Steel fingered beast, Dan Knight, has climbed the obvious sds line left of the Roof of a Baby Buddha in the Maes Newyddion woods. Grey House 7C+ features some snatchy moves and a hard crux pop from a two finger drag.

On his first visit to the woods Dan made a quick repeat of Roof of a Baby Buddha then at the end of the session had a quick play on the crux move of Grey House. He did the move but then had to leave.

On his next session Dan warmed up on the line, refining his sequence as he went. Conditions were a bit damp but he still managed to nail the full ascent on his sixth go.

“All in all it's a great little addition to the boulder. It's definitely overshadowed by Nodder’s roof problem, which is completely class – and probably my favourite problem in North Wales! However, as a stand alone problem it is good - a bit snatchy, and with a bit of spice thrown in at the end.”

Enthused Dan.
