Owen Hayward has developed an excellent new area on the south east flank of Tal y Fan in the north east corner of the Carneddau mountain range. The area was initially probed by Nige Shepherd, and then Owen, not knowing of Nige’s efforts, came in and climbed an impressive range of problems, including the brilliant highball aręte of Megalith 7A and the powerful Barrowight 7A+.
