Black Country Crack area

Shortly before popping his A2 pulley, Owen Hayward added a nifty new line to the Black Country Crack area in Parc Dudley.

Beast from the East climbs the wall just right of 'nails' project 19 (p.450 in the new NWB guide) from a sitting start. Pull on with compression holds (left: holding edge of recess, right: sidepull left of mossy crack) and make tricky moves up to the obvious head height sloper/juggy finger rail. Finish with a slap up left to the juggy ledge or straight up. The mossy crack and edge of the wall to the right are out of bounds.

Owen wasn't sure of the grade, thinking it was around 7A to 7B ish.

The nails undercut project remains as an obvious challenge for lanky climbers with a penchant for locking off on crimpy undercut/sidepulls!
