The ‘World Famous Welsh Spring’, as I sometimes like to call it, has arrived and the FAs are coming in thick and fast. This afternoon Pete Robins ventured across from his Sir Fôn home into the hinterland of Gwynedd, specifically to Craig Isallt in the quiet, time-stands-still Cwm Pennant. Here he picked off a previously eyed line just left of Ultimate Warrior. See page 603 in the NWB 3.1 guide.

Randy Savage (7B+) is the obvious stand up line featuring a pretty wild slap move and a not insubstantial mantel press to finish. Pete also climbed the obvious ramp line on the left from sitting at 6Bish, and pointed out that linking this sitter, or indeed the UW sitter into the Randy Savage finish would most likely give grade 8 action.

NB. Caution! The rock here is the finest dolerite known to man - its form is so perfect it can cause a hypnotic fugue to descend upon those who behold its crystal perfection.
